La Ghidina Lugana DOC
Of all my wines, this is the only one dedicated to our own estate that supplies the grapes. This was a choice I made as a tribute to the history of these vineyards, among the oldest in the area of denomination. These lightly withered grapes produce a complex wine that is aged in oak barrels followed by fining for a long period in the bottle. This Lugana is produced in limited quantities only in the best years: it is an important wine with even more essential and refined packaging that is worth waiting for and shared with those who appreciate precious things.
Golden-yellow colour with a greenish tinge. To the nose, there are hints of ripe yellow fruit, pineapple, mango, light vanilla and almond. On the palate, it is balanced, rich, substantial and well-structured, without losing any of the freshness and ease of drinking.
A complex, mature wine capable of evolving further.
